Switch Phones?

If you and your boyfriend/girlfriend switched phones for a day would you still be together? Seriously would you? Think about how many texts you send out a day. Ladies you know your always checking you phone to hear the latest stories from your girl. How many text do you think your man would not like, or worse not like who you're texting?

Now Ladies, what about your man's phone? You know the first female to text you're ready for 20 questions. But who knows? Maybe switching phones would be a good thing. Possibly getting closer to his Boys while he gets a little insight from the Girls.

Sharing a phone isn't so bad, however. Having common friends helps a lot. It's a great option for those jealous men and women. If you're in a serious relationship then its showing you can share your social life. Which isn't all that bad. It's always good to know who your with, and where you are just in case something happens. Just as long as we know your safe and with your friends, enjoy!

Teen Violence

In 2000, nine percent of the murders in the United States were committed by people under the age of 18. One in ten teens are arrested for engaging in violent activities. Each year it seems to get worse. Every kid tries to grow up faster than should. As a result most don't make the best decisions.

In other words...drinking and/or drug usage. A lot of young teens get mixed into the wrong crowds. For example gangs, where kids do harmful things to themselves and others. They see it as the tougher you are the better. "What doesn't kill ya, makes ya stronger, right?" Wrong. As a result growing up you lose friends. You see some get locked up, you see your girls being pregnant at a young age, you see the drugs take a toll on the pretty faces you once knew. You see the drugs themselves. Also you see the fights the men get into.

As a generation we should be stronger than that. Know better, and care about knowing better. Why not set an example of what to do, not what you shouldn't.

Art

If you know me then you must know there is one thing I absolutely have always loved, and that is Art & Music. I have fallen so in love with Art that is my major in College. I love drawing, painting, lyrics, sounds, colors, pictures, and even the history!!! I hope to work with Art in the future. Everyone has always told me to do what I love. It's a part of me. So of course I'm going to do just that!

How do I see Art? I see Art in many ways as peace. Its an escape from reality for a while. The time and effort put in, and then the out come of a masterpiece. It's worth it in the end. Art has been around for thousands of years. It has even been used as a means of communication. Art to most is also a life style. As for myself, it's all of this, it's a masterpiece, it's peace, its communication, its part of my life.

I Love You!

I never have been in a relationship where I can truly be myself, I never had someone I could just goof around with and play wrestle, I never had someone make me laugh and smile this much, I never had someone who makes me always feel safe when he's around. I honestly never cared about someone this much. I never realized what Love actually is until I met you. I thought I knew, but no. Everything is so real with you. I still have those feelings from when I first fell for you, only they get stronger each day. I love you Adam. I truly do, and I mean it when I say forever. I honestly don't think someone could ever make me this happy. I know I have said things like this, but I actually mean it. You have helped me through everything this past year, you kept my mind straight, you take care of me, and you are always there when ever I need you. Your more than my boyfriend, and your more than a best friend. I've never been this close to someone. I hope it always stays this way. I hope I'll always be your girlfriend, because I never wanted anything more in my whole life. I Love You!

Health Insurance

Alright, let me start off with first telling you that anyone who said the system is screwed up is right. I am not one to be jerked around by the system, I hardly ever have a complaint, actually I usually am happy with it all. But recently I am beyond my limits to say "oh yes the system always treated me right."

I have gone to my local pharmacy 7 times in the past two days just to find out I STILL cannot get my script that I need daily. Because some how I was signed up with Blue Cross Blue Shield. Funny, I NEVER signed myself up for it, and I don't know anyone who has it. So question, how did my information get to a COMPLETELY different insurance company? Next question, why is it when I called my normal insurance they gave me Blue Cross Blue Shield's Number and the guy added "Press 5 as soon as you hear the main menu and tell them you want them to take you off as a disclaimer." REALLY? F***ing Really?!?!

So truly glad that I'm not the first one this has happened to! So now I get to pay thirty bucks because I CANNOT go another day. I had such a great day up until just now. Spent the day with my two beautiful nieces and they were both so very good. They made this Aunty proud. Then I was just going to relax until my sweetheart comes home from work, but nope. I get to get pissed off! Lovely! Ugh here's a big SCREW YOU To The Corporate Offices Of My Insurance Company. Have a lovely day everyone!

Much Love! <3

Games

Alright, it's been a while since I've posted actually over a year. Well I'm back and this topic got me inspired. Well today's society is slowly throwing away the healthy active lifestyles that we all grew up knowing. Slowly the Gaming systems are taking over. Come on people! Get outside and have a social life. Go play basket ball, shoot a paint ball gun, got for a run or even a nice walk.

Games now-a-days are so much fun. Very addictive. Some companies actually try to make it a goal to keep kids hooked. As a result millions of dollars are pulled in by the big corporations that produce these top sellers. Which as a result has us gamers spending hours upon hours playing these games. Which in all honesty isn't always a bad thing. Keeps us happy and home safe and sound, instead of out on the streets.

Now before I get into this of part topic don't think I'm against video games, I'm a Sony chick myself, I've had all three generations of the Play Station. But if you think about it, everything has to do with technology. Within the next 20 years, will we even be talking face to face? We have all these programs, social networks, texting and instant messaging appications. What's the point of daily conversation at the kitchen table right? Wrong, as a result your losing your health. You gain weigh, strain your eyes, throw off your entire sleeping cycle and so on. So put the games down now and then and get outside.

In Loving Memorie Of....

Losing someone is always hard. A year ago tomorrow, I lost my role model, my grandmother Caroline Ackerson. Yes, I’m upset and hurting. But I’m also glad I have friends and family that are there for me! I truly am! Anyways this post is something I’d like to dedicate to my grandmother.

Memories are always there in our minds. Like a movie playing non-stop. Ever since we are born, our minds work like crazy. Some memories are non-forgettable, and if you ever lose someone who you truly care about…well you learn to appreciate those memories a lot more than you did.

In all, I know I truly am thankful to have the memories that I had with my grandmother, she was an amazing woman and I know I’ll never forget her!
